2 Dead In Suspicious Blaze On Detroit's Northeast Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Two people are dead, another hospitalized after a house on Detroit's northeast side is firebombed following an alleged fight between the victims and another woman.

Police say that a woman and her boyfriend were killed, while her brother was seriously injured after a house was firebombed in northeast Detroit.

Apparently it began as dispute with another woman who was the mother of a child belonging to the same man reports WWJ's Ron Dewey.

Investigators say the mother made threats toward the woman, saying this isn't over and I'll be back.

Three hours later the house at the corner of Hoyt and Manning was firebombed. The woman and boyfriend, sleeping on the main floor were killed, the brother, sleeping upstairs was seriously injured.

Investigators say this could have been even worse, as family members of the victim had been in the process of moving and were in their new home at the time of the fire.

Police are now looking for the mother, as well as those who also may have been involved in the firebombing.
