Industrial Accident In Warren Injures 1 Person, Investigation Continues

WARREN (WWJ) - One person was hurt in an industrial accident in Warren Monday morning.

Police, fire and EMS units responded to Formsprag Clutch on Hoover Road, north of 9 Mile, after a window was blown out of an industrial building.

Police told WWJ Newsradio 950 that a male employee suffered minor burns to his arm and his hair was also singed when a furnace exploded. No one else was hurt.

Work is continuing at the business which employees about 100 people, while the investigation into what caused the incident continues.

The injured worked was expected to be back on the job later Monday.
