Shaq Surprises Cop And Kids For Game Of Street Ball [VIDEO]

By: Sara

Last week a Gainesville, Florida cop responded to the report of kids playing basketball "loudly" in the streets. Instead of shutting things down, Officer Bobby White jumped in the game and hooped it up for a few minutes with the kids. The policeman was just happy to see kids playing outside and getting exercise instead being cooped up in their rooms with video games.

Officer White's dash cam caught the whole event on tape, and the department's social media coordinator posted the clip with the message: "We're going to let kids be kids. We are going to focus on the ones who commit crimes. #HoopsNotCrime."

The video not only went viral, it also caught the eye of one Shaquille O'Neal. Shaq loved the video and the message behind it so much, he decided to surprise Officer White and the kids with a rematch.
