NOVI (WWJ) – Novi Police are warning residents about a rash of break-ins in the city.

The crook seems to be targeting homes in a neighborhood off of Beck Road just south of I-96.

Police say the thief is suspected of breaking into at least three homes in recent weeks. In each instance, the homes were broken into during the evening hours and the suspect made off with electronics, cash, jewelry and firearms.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s. He was wearing the same thing during each crime: a uniform-style shirt with a patch, and dark pants. Police believe he is driving a red SUV with yellow writing on the back window.
