Super Bowl week is in full swing. Just about every celebrity and athlete that has something to promote will be on hand to talk with the awaiting media.

Monday, Josh Katzenstein of the Detroit News caught up with former Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson and he had some interesting comments about Calvin Johnson and his reported retirement.

Burleson decided to compare Johnson to rapper Tupac.

"Nothing's official," he said at the SAP Center. "I'm waiting, and maybe that's the fan in me. Maybe it's like being a fan of Tupac. I don't think he's dead yet. Until you prove that to me, I still think he's living in Cuba."

I get what Burleson is trying to say, but come on Nate, we all know Tupac is no longer living with us and someone with a camera phone would have snapped a picture of Tupac doing something by now if he were.

Burleson also went on to say it's ridiculous that the Lions new GM Bob Quinn hasn't reached out to Johnson yet.

"That's ridiculous," Burleson said. "You're casually going about enticing one of the best receivers in my era to come back, and then you're casual about showing your appreciation for a guy who has … put the organization on his back without complaint.

After hearing all the reports, do you think Calvin Johnson will retire?
