6 Found Dead In Apparent Case Of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

LINDEN, Mich. (WWJ/AP) - Six people have been found dead inside of a Linden home near Fenton Township.

It's unclear what the cause is - but reports indicate the deaths could be from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Sheriff Robert Pickell says that a generator was being run in the basement of the house, likely due to a Friday night power outage.

A relative found the four children and two adults Sunday afternoon in their bedrooms.

Leonard and Heather Quasarano, along with their four children, Luke, Brenden, Rachel, and Grant, who ranged in age from eleven to two, were identified as the victims in the home.

Genesee County Undersheriff Chris Swanson told the newspaper that the home was being cleared Sunday of some type of toxic fumes.

A Consumers Energy utility crew was called to the home.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family.
