Police: Teens Posing With Guns At McDonald's Prompts Lockdown

PINCONNING, Mich. (AP) - Police say three young people who stopped at a fast food parking lot to pose with their guns after going hunting prompted a brief lockdown at a Michigan school.

The Bay City Times reports several people called 911 Monday morning to report guns being brandished near a truck outside a McDonald's in Pinconning, about 110 miles northwest of Detroit.

A short time later, police spotted the truck near Pinconning High School. Police contacted the school and it was placed on lockdown.

Pinconning police Sgt. Terry Spencer says three students, ages 17 and 18, had hunting licenses and told police they'd gone hunting that morning. He says they were on their way to school when they stopped for food and decided to pose with their guns.

No arrests were made.
