“It’s a dereliction of duty from the governor is so high that he should resign,” said Sanders.

The top Democrat in the Michigan House, Tim Greimel, is the first state lawmaker to call for Governor Snyder’s resignation over Flint’ water crisis.

A spokesman for the governor says Snyder is “fully committed” to remaining in office.
