ROMULUS (WWJ) – Although the case started as a murder investigation, officials say the death of a man who was found stabbed and strangled at a Downriver park has been ruled a suicide.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner on Friday said 21-year-old Brandon Mahon died of a stab wound to the chest and ligature strangulation.
