The Snack Attack: Little Caesars' Stuffed Crust Deep Dish Pizza Is Unbelievably Cheesy

Little Caesars has always been ahead of the game when it comes to creating delicious new concoctions for their pizza. The home of the $5 Hot-N-Ready blew us away with their Soft Pretzel Crust pizza (my personal favorite) and made mouths water with their Bacon Wrapped Crust deep dish pizza.

This week, Little Caesars blew our pizza-loving minds again by debuting the Stuffed Crust deep dish pizza. Take a second to let that sink in -- a Detroit-style deep dish that has cheese stuffed in the crust!

Here's how LC describes the pizza: The new Stuffed Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza is an 8-corner deep dish pizza surrounded by a unique, crisp-on-the-bottom crust that is stuffed with gooey cheese, and topped with even more cheese, plus pepperoni.

This is one hefty pizza and between two people (who can usually put away a large pizza like nobody's business) we could only eat three slices.

This was literally the heaviest pizza I've ever picked up. You can really feel the cheese in this pie -- Little Caesars says it has more than 3.5 feet of cheese baked into the crust. No wonder it costs $10, two bucks more than a normal deep dish, but it's totally worth it.

Appearance: Is it possible for a pizza to be attractive? Because this one was a beauty. The pizza was smothered with cheese and the pepperoni was perfectly crispy around the edges. The crust was slightly puffed up so you know its filled with cheese.

Aroma: It's a pizza... It smelled like pizza.

Taste: If I say "It tastes like Little Caesars" I think you'll know what I mean. The crust had crispy edges but toward the middle of the slice, it got a little doughy. I thought it could have used a little more sauce, considering the overwhelming amount of cheese -- but I also ordered a side of Crazy Bread so I had sauce for dipping. The cheese stuffed inside the crust was deliciously gooey and melty -- and there's a ton of it. It has a different taste and texture from the cheese topping the pizza and even as my sliced cooled down, the cheese inside the crust stayed warm and stringy -- just how it should be!

Pros: Cheese, cheese and more cheese. If you like deep dish pizza, you cannot pass this one up.

Cons: Heavy dough-to-topping ratio. If you're not huge on stuffed crust, you'll probably want to pass.

Rating: 7 out of 10
