DETROIT (WWJ) – Crews will be hitting the roads this weekend but luckily, there aren’t too many construction zones.

The following road work projects have been announced by MDOT. As always, some of this work may be postponed due to weather.

I-94:

In Wayne County, east and west I-94 from Merriman to Outer Drive has shoulder work for freeway lighting 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

In Wayne County, east and west I-94 from Schaefer to West Grand Blvd, moving left lane closures for freeway lighting 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In Wayne County, south Merriman ramp to west I-94, closed for road work, 9 a.m. Monday to 5 p.m. Wednesday.

I-96:

In Wayne County, west I-96 from Grand River to Davison, two left lanes close for signing 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.

In Wayne County, east and west I-96 from M-8 (Davison) to West Grand Blvd, daily shoulder closures, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for freeway lighting.

In Wayne County, west I-96 ramp to north M-39, ramp closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail work.

M-10:

In Wayne County, north and south M-10 from I-94 to I-75 nightly left lane closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for freeway lighting.

In Wayne County, Congress St ramp to north M-10, closed for freeway lighting 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

M-39:

In Wayne County, north M-39 at I-96, left lane closed on service drive for bridge work 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday.
