Chef Jared Bobkin Shares The Secrets To The Best Cheeseburger Ever

The "Hell's Kitchen" contestant is back home and WWJ's Brooke Allen got a chance to experience Bobkin in his element -- grilling a fantastic burger.

Bobkin tells us the construction of the burger is all about utility including the grilled brioche bun and hydro bibb lettuce and pickled tomato bed for the burger to rest and the charred onion aioli creating a sticky surface for the candied bacon to adhere.

A sunny side up fried egg adds richness that you'll miss on every burger without one.

Watch the video to see how chef Bobkin's burger creation comes together.

Get tips for cooking a medium-rare burger (which is the way Bobkin prefers it). He says the key is to watch for pools of liquid to form on the top of the meat and wait one minute after that to take it off for medium rare.
