Police Seek Tips In Case Of Missing Macomb Community College Student

UPDATE 4/6: Mossa Salleh Almasmari was found safe, out of state.  A Macomb Community College spokesperson said "it was a voluntary departure."

HAMTRAMCK (WWJ) - Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing Macomb Community College student.

Mossa Salleh Alasmari, 20 years old, of Hamtramck, was last seen at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, on MCC's South Campus in Warren.

His silver 2009 Hyundai Elantra was found parked in a college parking lot, according to police, but there was no sign of Alasmari.

Almasmari is around 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 215 lbs. He was last seen wearing a gray coat, blue plaid shirt, khaki pants and black Air Jordan shoes and carrying a black Nike Air backpack.

Anyone who may have seen this young man or who may have information about his whereabouts is urged to call either Macomb College Police at 586-445-7135 or the Hamtramck Police at 313-876-7803.
