Father Of 7 Indicted On Child Pornography Charges

DETROIT (WWJ) - A father of seven has been indicted on numerous child pornography charges. Ryon Lenell Travis was arrested last month as part of an investigation into a fraud case. During their investigation, West Bloomfield police say they found several images of sexual acts involving a young child on a phone allegedly belonging to Travis.

In March a grand jury indicted Travis on four offenses, including production, transportation and possession of child pornography, and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, court records show reports MLive.

In one of the discovered images, the child is on a sheet with a distinctive pattern that matches a sheet seen on a bed in a room of Travis' house, the affidavit states.

It's alleged the child was involved in sexually explicit conduct from about January of 2015 to March 2nd of this year.

Travis' trial is pending.
