Detroit Police want to question this pair, believed to be in their 20s, in connection with a carjacking early Tuesday morning at a Coney Island in the area of Wyoming and Lyndon.

This is a snapshot from video taken at the Coney Island where the women were with the two carjacking victims.

Detective Dana Russell said the women met two men at Fairlane Mall in Dearborn, then reconvened in Detroit at about 3 a.m.

After leaving the restaurant, two men and women were together in a parked car when three men with baseball bats approached and badly beat the men, police said.

"Those two females are only persons of interest we would like to talk to," Russell said.

One of the victims is hospitalized with severe head injuries.

Anyone with information should call 1-800-242-HEAT.
