Small Business Workshop: Critical Keys To Success

DETROIT (WWJ) - Small businesses are a major economic generator to the state's economy employing an estimated 1.8 million people.

Mark Lee, President/CEO of the Lee Group is hosting the Small Business Workshop at Tech Town on May 3.

"Do you understand who you represent, and how is your business being positioned in the marketplace?" asks Lee.

The theme this year is: Your critical keys to success.

They're targeting existing business who are facing challenges with topics including branding and financing. "We'll have both traditional bankers and alternative financing ... and they are going to provide you with the type of information you are looking for," he says.

Workshop topics include "Articulating Your Vision", "Communicating Your Brand", "Managing Your Numbers" and "Identifying Your Target Markets."

The mission is to provide practical advice and counsel to existing and aspiring small businesses experiencing growth challenges. With business experts, a panel discussion, and workshop sessions, attendees will receive information that is critical to the success of their business. Lee says they are also planning to make onsite resources available to attendees in order to assist them in overcoming challenges confronting their day-to-day business.
