Meijer Looking To Hire 280 At New Downriver Supercenter

FLAT ROCK (WWJ) - The "Help Wanted" sign is out at a new metro Detroit Meijer store set to open this summer.

The Grand Rapids-based company said in a news release Monday they're looking to hire around 280 people to work at a new supercenter in Flat Rock, in southeastern Wayne County.

Jobs are available in all departments with openings for clerks, cake decorators, cashiers and meat cutters as well as openings in customer service and receiving.

Starting pay will be based on experience level and specific skills.
