NFL Scout On Eli Apple: 'The Kid Has No Life Skills. At All. Can't Cook. Just A Baby.'

When I first moved out of my parent's house at 23, I couldn't do anything on my own. I didn't know how to do laundry, couldn't cook, didn't know how to run a vacuum. You name it, I hadn't done it before. The first time I ran the dish washer, I used hand detergent and not dish washer detergent and that was just a disaster.

And it looks like I'm not alone.

One of the top CB's in the NFL Draft is former Ohio State Buckeye Eli Apple. Apple has been in the news earlier this year was reportedly asked if he was gay by the Atlanta Falcons.

Apple is once again in the news, this time because of his life skills, or alleged lack thereof. According to the Milwaukee- Wisconsin Journal Sentinel:

The kid has no life skills. At all. Can't cook. Just a baby. He's not first round for me. He scares me to death." Wonderlic was 21. "He probably has as much talent as anybody but he, like a lot of those Ohio State guys, is inconsistent," said a third scout.

This can't be serious. Is a player trying to be drafted really being criticized because he can't cook? If I were a NFL GM and I heard that I would just brush it off. If the kid can play football, what does it matter if he can't cook?
