Four of the suspects have been arrested and multiple firearms have been recovered, but several weapons are still missing and one suspect remains at large.

“We take this crime very seriously. The theft of firearms from licensed gun dealers is a top priority for ATF,” S. Robin Shoemaker, special agent in charge of ATF’s Detroit Field Division, said in a statement. “These firearms are now on the street with the strong potential of being used in violent crimes when they are sold to or end up in the wrong hands. Through our experience, we know that tips from the public can result in the recovery of those stolen firearms.”
