Detroit (WWJ) – He plays the mayor on CBS cop drama “Blue Bloods” and the popular John Diggle character on “Arrow”. Even though he lives in L.A., actor David Ramsey says he will never forget his Detroit roots. Ramsey grew up on the city’s west side — and went to Mumford High and Wayne State University.

“It’s funny too because I’m working in Vancouver I work in Brooklyn and I say I’m from Detroit and they’re like ‘Wow, oh, Detroit. What’s that like?’,” said Ramsey.
