DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are looking for help from the public to identify a suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a Mexican restaurant on the city’s southwest side.

Police say an armed, masked man walked into Taqueria El Rey on Vernor last Monday evening and demanded money from the cash register.
The robber can be seen on security video pointing a gun at the clerk and then at guests inside the popular taco joint before grabbing money from behind the counter.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
