DETROIT (WWJ) – About 129,000 infant and toddler bike helmets are being recalled because of a potential danger to children.

The helmets, imported from China by Wisconsin-based Pacific Cycle, have magnetic no-pinch chin strap buckles with small plastic covers and enclosed magnets that could pose a choking hazard.

The company says there have been three reports of the plastic covers coming loose, but no injuries were reported.
