Is This The New Thing You're Supposed To Do At Comerica Park? [VIDEO]

There are certain things you can expect when you attend a Detroit Tigers game. There will be peanut shells on the ground, and the smell of hot dogs in the air along with the sour smell of beer. You can also expect to see the wave at some point in the game.

I can't stand the wave. I'm the guy who doesn't participate. Move around me if you must, but I'm not waving my arms in the air. Are people so bored at the game that they need to get up and bother everyone around them who is trying to enjoy the game?

Call me old or cranky or a combination of both but there is nothing that annoys me more at a sporting event.

During last night's Tigers and Blue Jays game, one man broke out in a chant to start the wave -- Is this chant the new wave?

"Are you ready to do the wave?" the man yelled at first. Then in song formation, "we gonna do the wave, we gonna do the wave," the man repeated four times.

As you can see in the video, the crowd then was doing the wave around the stadium. Am I the only one who dislikes the wave this much? If you are one of the people who likes the wave I would love to hear why.
