Built in 1915, the Farwell Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 — but has sat vacant for years, according to Morris Mims, who lives nearby.

“It’s very dangerous,” Mims told WWJ’s Mike Campbell. “There’s rats, stray cats, a huge raccoon. He weighs about 80 pounds or more, he runs the block. He’s a big, huge raccoon.”

The movie is expected to film in Detroit through August, with additional filming to take place in London, Cuba and Iceland.
