To celebrate its first year serving the Ann Arbor community, the restaurant is offering a complimentary petite filet to anyone with the legal first name of Chris. Reservations are required with a valid driver’s license or ID presented — and variations of “Chris” are also acceptable, i.e., Christopher, Christina, Christy, Krys).

The promotion is good for one free 8 oz. petite filet, with the purchase of another entrée at Ruth’s Chris Steak House Ann Arbor location only, through July 31, 2016.

“More than 50 years ago, this steak house brand was born when Ruth Fertel purchased Chris’ Steak House in New Orleans,” Paul Goebel, general manager of Ruth’s Chris Steak House Ann Arbor, said in a statement. “We have loved bringing this excellent steak house legacy to the Ann Arbor community, whom we’d like to thank for a fantastic first year. We thought this promotion would be a fun and unique way to pay it forward.”
