ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) – Thousands of homes and businesses are waking up without power Friday following strong overnight storms.

DTE Energy says they’re working to restore service to about 10,000 customers. Some of the larger problems are in Milford, Rochester Hills and Dearborn Heights.

While no exact time estimates were given, DTE says electricity should be restored by the day’s end.
