Troy Woman Dead After Being Hit By Motorcycle In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) - Police say a woman is dead after a motorcycle driver collided with her in Baltimore.

Police in Baltimore say they were called to the intersection of Fleet Street and Exeter Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of a crash involving a pedestrian. Police say the woman, identified as 20-year-old Kellie Halushka of Troy, Michigan, was taken to a hospital where she died. Police say investigators believe the cause of the crash was pedestrian error.

Police say the driver of the motorcycle, a 48-year-old man, was taken to the hospital and is being treated for his injuries. Police say the motorcycle involved in the crash was reported stolen and criminal charges are currently pending against the driver. Police did not release the name of the driver.
