4-Year-Old Boy Dies After Being Found In Backyard Pool

EVERETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WWJ/AP) — Authorities say a 4-year-old boy who was found unresponsive in a backyard pool in western Michigan has died.

Jacob Arquette was reported missing Monday afternoon in Newaygo County's Everett Township and was pronounced dead after being found in the pool, according to multiple reports.

Deputies who found him performed CPR before an ambulance crew arrived, but the sheriff's department says they couldn't revive him.
