Police: Body Found Along Lansing Trail Was Tied To Railing With Belt Around Neck
LANSING (WWJ) - Police are trying to determine how a man who was tied to a railing along a trail in downtown Lansing died.
The body was discovered around 7 a.m. Tuesday under a bridge along the Lansing River Trail, near Kalamazoo Street, according to the Lansing State Journal.
Police on the scene say the death appears to be suspicious because the man had a belt wrapped around his neck that was tied to a railing. The man is said to be a Lansing resident in his 20s.
A cause of death wasn't immediately apparent.
An investigation is ongoing.
