Creepy Clown Terrorizes People In Green Bay [PHOTOS]

GREEN BAY, WISC., (CBS Detroit) On the plus side for local residents, they're in the home of the Packers -- and we're not.

Despite the Lions, Detroit does have this going for us: No creepy clowns terrorizing people on the street.

Residents of Green Bay, Wisc., are shooting Twitter pics of a grinning clown carrying balloons on the streets of their fair town.

Some are scared, others amused. But they're all paying attention.

He was first spotted at about 2 a.m. Tuesday, per Twitter reports.

A local TV station reports they've been getting calls about the mysterious clown, who appears to have a Facebook page where he's named "Gags." Police told the station they had received a few calls about the clown, but there was nothing they could do about it.

"A person can walk down the sidewalk dressed however they want as long as they're in a place they legally can be, and they're not in a place that has a closing time, like a park," Captain Kevin Warych, of the Green Bay Police Department, told WGBA.
