The family of the man who allegedly killed her had notified them.

Police say Matthew Bush called a family member this morning to say he had killed his friend and then taken a large amount of drugs to take his own life. When police arrived at Bush’s Hazel Park home, they found him dead.

Police believe that 36-year-old Bush drove to Ferndale and strangled his ex-girlfriend, and then drove back to Hazel Park and killed himself.
