WIXOM (WWJ) – The body of a man who went missing after diving into the water late Saturday night has been recovered.

Sixty-three year old Dale Pasinski dove into the waters of Loon Lake during an outing with his wife and never resurfaced.

A dive team from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department found his body Sunday.

“The Wixom police department is real sad to report that the Oakland County Sheriff’s dive team has recovered the body of a 63-year-old Wixom man,” said Lt. Ron Moore.

Moore says the dive team searched all night and into today when they recovered Pasinski’s body.

Moore also wanted to thank people around Loon Lake who have been patient and gave the searchers the space to do their jobs.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances around his death.
