The Detroit Lions and every other NFL team were required to get their rosters down to 53 players on Saturday.

The Lions were forced to cut 22 players, including preseason standouts Jake Rudock, Jace Billingsley and Jay Lee.

In addition to the players above, tight end Andrew Quarless was placed on the Reserve/Suspended list.
