Hazel Park Officers Accused Of Making Women Expose Breasts During Traffic Stop

HAZEL PARK (WWJ) -- Two women have filed a federal lawsuit against four Hazel Park Police officers for allegedly making them expose themselves to passing drivers during a traffic stop, according to multiple reports.

The suit claims that Officer Ryan McCabe -- and three others who weren't named -- made the women pull up their shirts and bras and shake their breasts, exposing themselves to passing motorists on I-75 near Eight Mile on June 5 at around 2 a.m., reports MLive.

McCabe allegedly told one of the women "to lean over the hood of the vehicle, pull up her shirt and bra, thereby exposing her breasts to those on scene and to traffic driving by on I-75, and to shake her breasts," the lawsuit claims.

"He then ordered her to shake her breasts again, harder," before making the other woman do the same thing.

The women claim at least one officer recorded the incident on his cell phone, but police say that there is no video evidence from the scene, according to the Detroit Free Press.

A male passenger from the vehicle was charged with cocaine possession.

The women are seeking unspecified damages.
