Ben Affleck Brings His A-Game In "The Accountant"

DETROIT (WWJ) - If you're in the mood for a good drama, you'll thoroughly enjoy Ben Affleck's latest movie, "The Accountant." In this action-packed flick, Affleck stars as math whiz Christian Wolff, a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminals.

Wolff is hired by an electronics conglomerate to investigate a discrepancy that's been discovered in the company's books. As a writer, one of the things I really liked about "The Accountant" is how well written it is. The screenplay is by Bill Dubuque, who also wrote "The Judge," starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Robert Duvall. If you don't have a good script, you definitely won't have a good movie.

From the opening scene in "The Accountant" until the very end, this movie keeps you on the edge of your seat. There's action, there's suspense, along with plot twists and plenty of surprises. This is one of the best movies I've seen so far this year, and one that I highly recommend.

Also starring Anna Kendrick, J. K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, Jean Smart and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, with Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow.

See you at the movies!
