Man 'Naked And Covered In Feces' Tasered By Oakland County Deputies

PONTIAC (WWJ) -- A Pontiac man is undergoing a mental evaluation after Oakland County deputies tasered him to prevent him from hurting himself.

Deputies responded to a call from the 1100 block of Dudley St. at around 8:30 p.m. Friday night. The caller said their grandson was breaking things in the basement of the home, that drugs may be involved and that the man was threatening to kill himself.

Deputies went into the basement and found the man jumping on a chair, striking his head on the ceiling, injuring himself. The man was "naked and covered in fecal matter."

Deputies told the man to stop, but he refused and a Taser was used to subdue him before he could hurt himself any further.

Paramedics took the 23-year-old man to McLaren Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
