(CBS DETROIT) – If you haven’t done your taxes yet, turns out you have a little more time to get them done.

The Trump administration announced an extension to this year’s tax deadline for both people and businesses due to COVID-19.

The extension lasts 90 days which is past the original April 15 deadline.

Your returns however, still need to be filed by April 15.

This article makes no sense. Did you mean that tax payment is still due by April 15? You said there was a 90 day extension to file and then said the return still needs to be filed by April 15.
