Michigan Unemployment: 24,897 Claims Filed Last Week

(CBS DETROIT) - Michigan's unemployment claims fall as national numbers stay about the same.

The Labor Department reported, over 24,000 jobless claims were filed in the state last week.

This is down from the 34,000 claims filed two weeks ago.

National claims are up to 1.3 million falling by 100,000 from two weeks ago.
