What feels like forever ago now, I sang this song at a talent show here in Detroit. It was my first ever and I was very nervous but also extremely excited. I was one of the younger few but I still was able to compete for the winning spot in the show case. Unfortunately for me, I lost. I lost a lot of talent showcases actually. But, for some reason I just kept singing. I kept auditioning. I kept the faith. That and my purest of hope has brought me a long way. To places I would’ve never imaged. I still keep that hope and my deepest love for music with me. I remember watching Ruben win. It was so impactful, like I was watching a family member or something. This song echoed through my house for years. And I’ve always been ready to fly… ya know, without wings, lol. (btw, I hope you don’t mind the beginning’s transition 😅😬😁) • • • • • • • • • • • • • #livevocals#randbmusic#randbvocals#soulmusic#rubenstuddard#cover#jhaelleb#jlb#legacyb#blaqkken#jhaedmitri#lovemusic#inspirationalmusic#inspirationalartist#detroitmusic#bestvocals#range#omgvoices#singerspotlight#newsinger
