(CBS DETROIT) – Some Michiganders might be able to see this while looking out their window on Thursday, Sept. 30.

Experts say the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, will be visible in Northern Michigan and Maine thanks to a small geomagnetic storm.

To get the best view of this beautiful light show, you need to find a place with little air pollution.
