Grateful Turkey

What you will need: paper plate, glue construction paper, markers or crayons, scissors

Directions:

  1. Have your child color the paper plate for the turkey's body.
  2. Trace your child's hand and cut it out. You can make as many hands are you would like. Your child may need help for the next step if they can't write yet.
  3. Ask your little one what they are grateful for. Write the response on each hand. Either you can draw or cut out construction paper for the eyes and nose.
  4. Cut out the feet using orange construction paper.
  5. Now it's time to glue. Places the hands around the paper plate so they look like feathers. Make sure to use plenty of glue and press down as you go. Glue your eyes and nose on.
  6. Finally, flip your turkey over and glue on your feet.

You now have an adorable turkey and will be reminded for a long time of what your child is grateful for. Don't forget to add your child's name and age to the back.

Toilet Paper Roll Pilgrim Hat

What you will need: toilet paper roll, black and yellow construction paper, tape, scissors
