The Mercy Education Project has been fighting for the rights and educational empowerment of women and girls within the city of Detroit since 1992. While many inner-city youth and young adults may have a poor living situation or schooling program, women, more so than men, struggle to fight through aspects of adversity in order to earn their degrees. With the support of the community and qualified volunteers, the Mercy Education Project focuses its students on the best skills and practices to implement to help them succeed in certain test-taking environments, such as the ACT and SAT. In addition, programs are open to children of all ages.
