Union Street is the place to go if you anticipate needing to get out of the date. The bartenders are pretty helpful, so they would probably come to the rescue if your date turns out to be questionable. If it goes the other way, Union Street has it covered with its mood lighting and low-key vibe. The drink menu is respectable, stocked with an array of beer, including some from local and regional breweries. It also has the usual reds and whites plus a pretty substantial bellini selection is offered.
