Gayle's Chocolates
417 S. Washington Ave.
Royal Oak, MI 48067
(248) 398-0001
www.gayleschocolates.com

Gayle's Chocolates has been known for a while around Royal Oak, but she also does gift baskets. The store may have more variety, but online you can purchase a "Happy Box" for $38, which includes a pink box with Rice Krispies Treats, a 5 oz. chocolate bar, two chocolate-covered Oreos with decorations, Gayle's Almond Toffee and a Nut Cluster. Gayle's philosophy is that baskets should be reusable, so she creates hers from tins, hat boxes, storage cabinets, leather magazine racks and more.

Ridley's Bakery Cafe
4054 Rochester Road
Troy, MI 48085
(248) 689-8638
www.ridleysbakery.com

Ridley's Bakery Cafe offers an assortment of gift baskets, all with delicious bakery treats, and the cafe also has delivery, if necessary (24-hours notice is required). Prices range from $40 to $150, though you can also do the "create your own basket" option, which may be less expensive. Baskets range from the "Just a Little Something to Say ..." ($30) which includes two muffins, scones, cookies, brownies and a tea cake, to the most lavish, "Ridley's Most Incredible!" ($150) which has 1.5 dozen muffins and cookies, 1/2 dozen scones, 1/2 dozen brownies, one large tea cake, 1 jar of Ridley's preserves and gourmet tea and coffee. Gift basket orders can be placed in-person, online, over the phone or by fax.

Westborn Flower Market
14925 Middlebelt Road
Livonia, MI 48154
(734) 514-1000
www.westbornflowers.com

Westborn Flower Market is located in Dearborn, Livonia and Berkley and has Michigan-made gift baskets, all of which are assembled at its Livonia location. The baskets also ship "fully assembled," which other gift basket stores sometimes don't do; the final product will arrive at your doorstep completely assembled and ready to give as a gift. Try the Motor City Favorites basket ($70), which includes Faygo soft drinks, Red Pelican mustard, Sanders chocolates and some Westborn Market favorites; a more inexpensive option would be the "Chocolate Worth Sharing" basket ($35), which features various Sanders chocolates, as well as its hot fudge topping and chocolate stout beer.

Our Greentopia specializes in "green" gift baskets, meaning non-toxic and fair-trade products, among others. Its gift baskets vary, depending on the season - the store had Easter gift baskets this past year, but also carries "baskets for him" (durable wallets and belts, organic chocolate, Michigan-roasted coffee, etc.) and gift baskets that include varieties of Theo organic chocolate. The shop is Berkley's only "eco-lifestyle boutique and gift shop," and it sells "earth- and people-friendly products." The store is also family owned and doesn't offer its products online; however, if you stop by, you can partake in some free coffee or infused water while you do your shopping.
