Premier Pet Supply was voted “Best Pet Supply Store” in Metro Detroit on the Detroit A-List, “Vote 4 the Best,” and “HOUR Detroit” magazine, so it’s no surprise that it has a superb 5-star overall rating on Yelp as well. The store was opened in July 1992 by Ray Hesano, who wanted to offer a “clean, bright store that offered cutting-edge items at a great price,” and later on, his nephew Mike Palmer, now the face of Premier Pet Supply, began working with him. Premier Pet’s focus is on natural/holistic foods, supplements and treats for pets, and you can find bowls, beds and more as a present for your pup or other pet there.

Maestros Dog Haus’s mission is to help you feed your pet the healthiest food, with the “safest feeding bowls” and the “comfiest dog beds.” All of its dog food is grain-free, and its dog beds range from leather furniture, to cute/comfy, to orthopedic. A great gift idea from Maestros would be one of its dog houses/crates, which also double as end tables for your home, or perhaps a special occasion cake if your pup likes treats. Maestros also makes custom food bowls, made out of your choice of material (granite, quartz, slate and marble, with ceramic/spun aluminum bases).
