29 Park

43155 Main St
Novi, MI 48375
(248) 344-2925

Novi’s hottest party-goers go to 29 Park. The layout is well thought out with lots of comfortable booths and places to dance. The music is what you’d expect in a trendy dance club. Pours are generous. When you reserve a booth, they’ll bring sandwiches and snacks out at the end of the night to help you recover a bit. The security is quick to bounce rowdy patrons. Heads up about the mandatory coat check. The dress code prohibits baseball hats, jerseys or baggy clothing. The Windsor location is cool too if you’ve got a passport.

Elysium Lounge

625 Shelby St
Detroit, MI 48218
(313) 962-2244

On weekends and holidays this is the place to be Downtown. It’s a huge dance party! Make sure you are polished up to the max! It would be a shame to wait in that line only to get turned away at the door because you’re not looking fly. The plush decor and intimate layout is great for VIP parties. Beware that the valet is VERY slow when they close down. You’re better off getting some grub at one of the local restaurants and coming back for your car later after the crowd as died down.

BlackFinn American Saloon

530 S Main St
Royal Oak, MI 48067
(248) 582-9460

A great place for food during the day BlackFinn converts into a trendy dance club at night. Find Royal Oaks’ “finest” residents here, but understand that the ladies will also be affluent and more mature, so bring your “A” game. Ditch the tired pickup lines and learn some good jokes. Isn’t making a girl laugh the best way to keep them interested? Reserve a VIP party and get $3 drinks all night. Fans say the music is always good and they play “everything.”

Liquor Store

44325 W 12 Mile Rd
Novi, MI 48377
(248) 305-8135

It’s advertised as “Bachelorette Party Central” so there’s bound to be a quantity of eligible women. Locals will say that the music leaves a lot to be desired and needs an update. Don’t miss the mechanical bull and the stripper pole on the dance floor — things no nightclub should be without. The dress code prohibits hats, “Timbs,” athletic wear, and ripped or baggy jeans. Also, no sandals for the guys.

Voodoo Nightclub

527 Ouellette Ave
Windsor, ON N9A 4J3
(519) 258-3291

If you’re between 18 and 25 you can get away with going here. Make sure you get your enhanced driver’s license or passport because you’re headed to Canada! They claim that Voodoo Nightclub is “Where it’s Spring Break 24/7”. In Canada?! Sure! Every Thursday, our sister station, 98.7 AMP Radio presents “Barely Legal Thursdays,” featuring evening radio host Grooves. Don’t miss the “Jagermeister Booty Shorts Contest” with a cash prize! Drinks are pretty cheap. Which is nice.

Woody’s Diner

208 5th Ave
Royal Oak, MI 48067
(248) 543-6911

Royal Oak is one of Metro Detroit’s most hip and trendy towns, but Woody’s seems like it’s straight out of a college town. The first floor is a typical sports bar. You’ll pay a cover to get up to the second floor dance club or the third floor roof. You’ll find a ton of young ladies looking to dance and have fun. Get out on the floor and bust a move, because sitting on the edge being a looky-loo is not a good way to meet someone. It will get crowded quickly so claim your spot early.

V Nightclub

MGM Grand Detroit
1777 3rd St
Detroit, MI 48226
(877) 888-2121

It’s a smaller space, but the staff will keep the crowd regulated. Take a couple friends and reserve a VIP both. Your odds of landing a hottie will be a lot better if you have a table to let her relax those aching feet. The waitstaff is attentive and it’s not hard to get a drink. Doors open at 10 p.m. They don’t have a dress code published, but you can assume collared shirts are preferred, no jerseys, or baseball hats.
