THE DEFENSE

Q: Welcome Katia! What kind of car do you have?

A: It's a 2002 Saturn SC. I got it about three years ago. It had 80,000 miles on it when I got it.

Q: Have you put many miles on it since?

A: It has over 100,000 on it now. I guess you could say I drive a lot.

Q: What would you say is the first thing people notice about your car?

A: A lot of my friends tell me they like my rims.

Q: Where do those shiny rims take you?

A: Mainly used for transportation, to and from school and work. But sometimes it's nice to just drive around.

Q: What do you like best about your car?

A: It's small, for one thing. It gets great gas mileage!

Q: Is there anything that you don't like about it?

A: It's a little too small. When you're driving people around, there isn't much room in there.

Q: Have you given your car a nickname?

A: Actually, my friends have. They've noticed for being a smaller car, it's got a lot of trunk space, so they've nicknamed her LaFawnduh.

Q: LaFawnduh, like the character from Napoleon Dynamite?

A: Yeah, I kid you not. You can fit a lot of junk in the trunk.

Q: Have you got any plans for road trips?

A: No, not really, but we did take a trip to Frankenmuth one time.

Q: What will your next car be?

A: Pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I'm probably going to start looking for one in the next year or so because this one is starting to become high maintenance.
