The Woodhouse Day Spa has a guys' feel and a For the Gentleman list of services to complement its offerings for the ladies. The Gentleman's Hot Towel Facial is a kicked-up version of the hot towel for a shave, but this has blue lotus, said to be nutrient rich and restorative, and other elixirs for the skin. This salon in tony downtown Birmingham looks like an office from the outside. Inside, is a mix of modern and peaceful with huge, mod, leather chairs to sink into and Chinese paper lanterns overhead. Fair warning: Nails 07 tends to be pricier than most places. If you opt for a pedi, the massage chair comes at end in the drying room.
