WATCH: The Washington, D.C. Capitol Christmas tree was lit during a ceremony Wednesday evening. The ornaments on the tree were handmade by communities in New Mexico. The tree itself is from that state’s Carson National Forest. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Asher Dean, a fourth-grader from New Mexico, pushed the button to light the tree.
