Plymouth Drivers Could "Scream 4″ Closures

It could be a "Scream 4" drivers Monday and Tuesday in downtown Plymouth.  You can expect possible road and lane closures and parking restrictions on Main Street, Ann Arbor Trail and other streets around Kellogg Park while film crews are shooting scenes for the movie "Scream 4." The filming is expected to start early in the morning and go well into the evening.

Movie crews have also installed a film set in the parking lot next to the Box Bar on Ann Arbor Trail.

Scream 4 is expected to continue filming at various spots around Michigan for the next several weeks.

WWJ's Pat Sweeting spoke to Scream star David Arquette in downtown Plymouth who said they've had a lot of great support.

"It's exciting to come to smaller towns in Michigan, see how people sort of get a glimpse of the film industry," Arquette said.

And Arquette sees Michigan's tax break for the film industry as a smart move.  "People will start to see that it's really good for the economy as far as restaurants go, rental cars, hotels... just in general it really stimulates the economy," Arquette said.
